Fijian Meke

A few weeks ago, we were invited to a traditional Fijian Meke by the village of Vanu Balavu in the Northern Lau group. We were treated to a variety of traditional dances by children, men and women, welcoming us to the village and got to sample locally made deserts and treats including donuts, cinnamon rolls, biscuits and tea. I waddled away a happy camper!
