Last week I caught up with my buddy, Nick Saxon. If you haven’t heard about Nick, get in the know. A musician, performer, surfer, television presenter and brand ambassador (Sanuk, Skull Candy, Surf Aid, Surf Rock , Brixton and Nat Geo Adventure.) Saxo does it all. He’s the singer/songwriter of mello, sweet, folky tunes that make you wish you had a hammock and a Corona to jump into. Also part of the awesome Newcastle band Benjalu, and if you haven’t had enough of Nick yet, you can catch him on the National Geographic channel as the adventure series presenter.
We caught up and hung out while he was in town after playing a few gigs up on the GC. We got up early one morning to hunt for some uncrowded waves, making the right decision to get a little off the beaten track and were rewarded with some clean fun waves. Here’s a couple of shots from our morning adventure.
